This month instead of eating on Monday we are going to go to MOB on Friday August 6th for our Meet N Eat.  I believe Lionel said they would have burgers & dogs  :bg

Hello everyone!  I'm new to the site and the Mini world.  I recently bought a Silver Clubman S.  My name is Mike Rueve and I plan on attending the movie Friday.  Hope to see some of you there.

Helen and I attended.  It was great.  No rain, just kind of cooled things off.  Lots of MINI's and MINI owners! Burgers, Dogs (one live one :bg ), Brewster's Ice Cream, Popcorn, movie, and some nice prizes.  Were any of you all there?  I might have met you but didn't know it.

Hey WillM!  Yeah, I was there.  Silver Clubman, Temporary tag "BL1MEY".  I recognize your cat.  Not sure if we introduced ourselves or not.  That was the only thing I didn't like about the gathering.  There were no name tags.  I'm the worst at some of these thing.  End up keeping to myself too much....

We're kind of the same way....name tags would have helped.  The even was very nice though.  The staff was very hospitable and helpful.  Free food, Free Movie, Prizes..... :hs

I'm glad to hear there was a good turnout. I wanted to go but took the opportunity to visit some friends in Atlanta Friday before the Saturday event.  My turbocharger came apart on me Monday and Mike the guys got my MINI towed in and rushed the new installation to get me ready for MTTS just in time!! Really grateful they were able to get me going so I didn't miss it.

At the Countryman release party in Atlanta, there was one other car from Alabama. They were from Mobile and headed back from there. I stayed with the Atlanta MINIs group (great guys) through Knoxville and Indy (track was great!). They went back at Indy and now I am in St. Louis. A few Florida cars are all that remains of the South. I have to get back to work so this is my last stop. I really wished I could have went to Denver. This has been a great way to see the country, riding in packs of hundreds of MINIs!!

Hate we had such a poor turnout for Alabama at MTTS but I have had a blast. MINI throws a great event and I am very glad I went.
